Getting stuck for quick healthy lunch ideas? Well don’t forget good old tuna salad to make sure you can tick off your protein, get those vegetables in and feel satisfied at the same time! There are many different types of tuna in a can, tuna in spring water is best for you and then you can add your own dressing 🙂
- 1 can tuna (in spring water)
- 1 cup chopped rocket or lettuce
- 2 tbsp chopped celery
- 1 tbsp chopped shallots or red onions
- 1 grated carrot
- 1 cup of red cabbage
- Pinch of cayenne
- Salt or herbamare (dried herb mix)
PS. you can add any raw veg that you love as you might not from the alpha-alpha sprouts in the picture
Combine ingredients and add extra virgin olive oil with salt and lemon or use apple cider vinegar (with mother!) instead of lemon.
Otherwise, why not buy or make a homemade mayonnaise which is made out of real ingredients! Kultured wellness has this lovely mayo recipe if you want to make your own.
