Kale-chip-recipe
Kale chip recipe makes a great healthy snack, kale is nutrient dense and is part of the brassica family, which also includes cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower and brussel sprouts.
KALE CHIP RECIPE
2 bunches of kale
1 cup of tahini
1/4 cup of tamari
1/2 cup of water
1 onion
1 garlic clove
juice of 1 lemon
1/2 teaspoon of celtic sea salt
– Grab the bunches of kale and remove the leaves from the stems (tear into peices)
– blend the onion and garlic (as small as possible or in a blender)
– mix all the ingredients together ensuring that the kale leaves are well soaked and marinate for half an hour
– Either dehydrate till crispy or pop in oven on a very low heat (the lower the heat the longer they will take to cook – if temperate is below 42 degrees the enzymes will not be destroyed)
