Greek Lamb Roast Recipe
Healthy, hearty and surprisingly simple! This roasted lamb recipe made at our women’s health retreat is a great reminder that nutritious meals can be easy to make and absolutely delicious.
Can be made for dinner and lunch the next day!
Ingredients:
- Lamb forequarters chops
- Celtic Sea Salt
- Rosemary
- Garlic
- 1 cup water
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 180C.
- Place the lamb in a large pot, slice the garlic and pierce the lamb to create slits and stuff the sliced garlic into the slit (see video)
- Pour a cup of water into the pot over the lamb.
- Add sprigs of rosemary and rub a generous amount of Celtic sea salt.
- Cover the pot and put it into the oven for a minimum 3 hours at 180C.
- Serve with some Greek salad and baked potatoes.
